About this deal

One of the main problems we have with following through with self-care is finding the time. It feels like there is never any time to do that. This is more of a formal workbook based on cognitive behavioral therapy methods than a guided journal. Answering the printable journaling prompts and questions will help you dive deeper into the topic of self-care to explore what each prompt means to you. As you become more comfortable writing deeply about your thoughts, feelings and experiences, you’ll get to know yourself better and become more aware of your self-care needs. This will flow into your daily life and making time for the activities you love will become a natural part of everyday life. In the past I would have focused on how expensive it was, how it was unfair that my furnace broke, and all of the things I would have liked to do with the money instead.

What wild and crazy stuff would you like to try in your life that others may not understand or approve of? This journal was created by the author of the book Atomic Habits, and it’s recommended that you read the book first to make the most of this journal. There isn’t really a wrong way to do this. The important thing is that you do it. What do you write about in a self care journal?I typically write down three things every day that I’m grateful for. Sometimes these are very little things like being grateful that I have Diet Coke in the fridge!

I just had to include this list here. It’s so beautiful and gentle, just looking at it makes me calm down and light a candle. While this journaling-ready notebook is meant to work with a variety of pens, markers, and ink types, it isn’t 100 percent guaranteed to prevent those inks from bleeding through. Due to the thinner paper, it can happen, depending on your utensil of choice.Self-care goes together with self-love. Sometimes we all need a little nudge in that direction to remind us how awesome and worthy we are. Create the little compliments spread and write them down every time somebody says something nice about you. Whether you’re artistic or not, it can be fun to doodle and decorate your planner with your favorite colors and designs. And let’s not forget the satisfaction of crossing off tasks and habits you’ve completed. I really like this spread and how many simple things she included there that take almost no effort but bring so much joy, like singing or petting a dog.
